T he new internationalM asterP rogramme "M athM ods -M athematicalM odelling inE ngineering:T heory,N umerics,A pplications" has recently been approved for funding by theE uropeanU nion through theE rasmusM undus programme. S tarting from 2008/09 non-E uropean students may receive grants (42,000 euro for the two years duration) from theEU to attend the course. T heE uropean partner universities hosting theMS c courses ofM athM ods belong to the cities ofL 'A quila (I taly),N ice (F rance),B arcelona (C atalonia/S pain),H amburg (G ermany) andG dansk (P oland).
